Campbell University Department of Mathematical Sciences Campbell University is a liberal arts university located in Buies Creek, NC. Our department is a part of the University's College of Arts and Sciences.

We offer BS degrees in Mathematics and Mathematics with Teacher Licensure. We also offer a minor in Mathematics.

Check out these amazing flashback photos featuring CU math alum Lee Ann Eldridge Spahr. 🧡 Lee Ann and her classmates are members of the Campbell Golden Club, celebrating 50 years since their graduation. After graduating from Campbell, Lee Ann went on to graduate school at NC State and a career teaching math at Durham Tech. While at Durham Tech, she served stints as department chair and assistant dean. In 2011, Lee Ann received the Award for Math Excellence from the North Carolina Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges. She is truly an outstanding Campbell mathematician! 🧡

Shout-out to Mrs. Genny Tatum! Mrs. Tatum is starting her 31st year in education and her 8th as an adjunct instructor in our department. In her “day job” she teaches math at Triton High School. She is also a 2014 graduate of Campbell’s M.Ed. program in secondary math. 🧡 Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Tatum!! 🧡
