Today, our Sipsey Valley Middle School family mourns the loss of one of our own. Our hearts are heavy as we remember Will Roberts. His life, though far too short, left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was an inspiration to our students, staff, and community. Through his courage, strength, and character, he embodied everything Sipsey Valley Middle School strives to represent—kindness, perseverance, resilience, and compassion. His legacy will not be forgotten, and the difference he made in the lives of others will continue to be felt for years to come.

We extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, classmates, and all who loved him. During this difficult time, we pray that they are surrounded by comfort, strengthened by the love of those around them, and granted peace in the days ahead.

Once a Bear, always a Bear. You will forever be a part of the Sipsey Valley Middle School family, and you will be deeply missed.

SVMS will be dismissing at 2:52 this upcoming school year.
If you will be picking your child up, please use the road between us and the high school (Bear Boulevard) and turn right to get in the car rider line.
We ask that you not turn off of Romulus Road and try to turn left to enter the school so the buses will be able to exit and head to the high school. Please see the map for directions.

The Tuscaloosa County School System has immediate openings available for bus drivers!

TCSS has a New Driver Training Class beginning June 2. The class provides all training needed to become a bus driver. TCSS also provides training for bus aides.

These positions offer health insurance, retirement benefits, and opportunities to drive more when you are available. The positions work well as a part-time job or with other work schedules.
