Mrs. Brown's Daughter

My artwork is inspired by my mother and I aspire to honor her with every stroke of my brush. I hope she My mother was an amazingly creative human being.

Everything her hands touched turned to magic. She was my hero growing up and remains what I aspire to be today and tomorrow. She sewed all my clothes in grade school and beyond. She could look at a dress or costume, cut out a pattern and turn it into the most beautiful creation. I tried to sew, decorate cakes and put together a flower arrangements. Not a big success at any of these. When I started dating my husband, Larry Cook, he took me to an art class and I have been hooked since.
