As we wrap up our year, we'd like to give our thanks to Alpha Iota Philanthropies Inc and their generous contributions to our music room! Ivy Creek was the recipient of their 2025 Music Education Outreach Grant, which allowed our school to purchase instruments that are accessible to ALL our students. We have had a great year playing music with the addition of our bass bar instruments and are grateful to continue playing them in the years to come. Play on, play on!

What Is Purple Day?
Purple Day is a global initiative (also called World Epilepsy Day) to raise awareness about epilepsy as we support the children, adults, and their families affected by it. We invite you to join us in wearing purple, sharing information, and fostering a supportive community for those living with epilepsy.

What is Epilepsy?
Epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological condition in the US. Epilepsy is defined as 2 or more unprovoked seizures occuring more than 24 hours apart. It is a condition that affects 1 in 26 people worldwide. More than 65 million people around the world are living with Epilepsy.

Join us in supporting families impacted by epilepsy. You can wear purple clothes, purple hair, and/or anything purple will be fun.

Ms. Ward's Pre-K class had so much fun celebrating Read Across America and Dr. Seuss, complete with Twinning Things, Green Eggs & Ham, Thing cotton candy and a Dr. Seuss sensory bin. They are the cutest Things this side of the Creek!
