This Friday is our next Frozen Frenzee Day. Students that have prepaid are all set. Anyone else that wants to purchase should bring in $3.00 to their homeroom teacher. What a great way to celebrate the start of Fall Break!

Huge shout out to Colleen Gibson and her husband with Pro-Scape Land Management! They generously donated the materials and their time to create this beautiful, much-needed path here at Friendship!

Colleen is both a Friendship parent and paraprofessional, and we are so grateful for all they have done to make our school even better!

An exciting (not in a good way!) morning at Bleats and Blooms farm.

We had a heavy hawk presence at the farm today. One of the hawks had several of our newest chicks pinned against their wire fencing of their coop. Luckily, Officer Joubert (Hall County Sheriff's Office) 👮was doing exterior rounds and heard the ruckus and scared the massive birds away (Did you know she’s called to protect ALLLL or our babies her at FES, not just the human ones?!)

She called Mrs. Baker 🦸‍♀️, who immediately went out to rescue the babies .

4 of the chicks sustained non-life threatening injuries, but one does have a pretty badly broken toe. Thank you to Nurse Christy 👩‍⚕️who is always willing to offer a consult of the human or animal variety.

Everyone is expected to make a full recovery while under the care of Miss Baker and her students. (Lou Lou 🐰) has offered his cage as the recovery pen, and is being temporarily housed in the front office- much to Miss Tracy’s delight! 💁‍♀️

4th grade students are currently problem solving ways to protect against future airborne attacks. 🦅

A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Payne for planning and leading our very first Parent University!

We are so excited to see this opportunity continue to grow and provide meaningful support and resources for all of our students and families. We are grateful for the time, energy, and heart that went into making this first event a success!
