The Business Education program at Dallas County Technical Center is helping students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today’s fast-paced business world.

Under the instruction of Mr. Brad Nyberg and Mr. Max McKinney, students gain hands-on experience in Introduction to Business, Business Management, Digital Media, Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, and Computer Applications.

These courses give students opportunities to explore careers, develop valuable workplace skills, and prepare for success after high school. From financial literacy and entrepreneurship to technology, communication, and business management, students are building skills they can use in college, careers, and everyday life.

We appreciate Mr. Nyberg and Mr. McKinney for their commitment to helping students discover their potential and prepare for their future!

Program Spotlight

The Health Science program at Dallas County Technical Center, taught by Carley McConnell and Melanie Varner, gives students the opportunity to explore the many rewarding careers available in the healthcare field.

Students gain hands-on experience while developing important skills in patient care, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, professionalism, communication, and more. The program helps prepare students for careers in healthcare while giving them a strong foundation for continued education and industry certifications.

From learning in the classroom to gaining real-world experience, our Health Science students are preparing today for the healthcare careers of tomorrow!

We are proud of the work Mrs. McConnell and Mrs. Varner do to prepare our students for success beyond high school!
