Today was a bittersweet day for the Buffalo State Communication Department as Professor Meg Knowles attended her last faculty meeting prior to retirement on Sept. 1! An accomplished and award-winning filmmaker, Meg joined our Media Production faculty in fall 2006 and has led important curriculum revisions to modernize the Media Production major. She has mentored hundreds of students and is always there to lend them a helping hand. A co-founder of Buffalo State’s ”Beyond Boundaries” film series, Meg serves as secretary at Buffalo’s Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Arts Center and on many committees at Buffalo State. Meg: thanks for your outstanding service to our students, department, and Buffalo State - we will miss you! Best wishes for many happy years in retirement!
