🌮 Miss Schaeffer’s class continued their tradition of celebrating the end of their adding and subtracting decimals unit with a Mexican Restaurant day. Students enjoyed chips, salsa and queso. They took turns serving and being served. Waiters and waitresses took orders down, totaled bills, made change and dealt with unruly customers 🤣🤣. They even had a few special guests.

Mrs. Abraham thrifted some clothing items for our cubbyhole closet with donated funds (below are examples of types of clothes we like to keep on hand). We are in need of gently used items (tops - tshirts; bottoms - elastic waisted) in the following sizes:
Youth Medium boys - shirts, pants, shorts
Adult XL men’s - shorts
Adult L and XL women’s - shorts, pants

*no sweatshirts or coats are needed at this time

Items may be dropped off at the front office. Thank you!

Buffalo Prairie Middle School's own Ashley Akins was the recipient of a SWRTA $500 classroom grant to use as part of her "A Long Walk to Water" unit.

She is pictured with Southwest Region President, Angie Cicalla at the Fall Fling on September 21.

Congratulations to Ashley, and thank you to the Southwest Regional Teacher's Association for helping provide this grant for her students!

🏐 8th Grade Volleyball Recognition 🏐

Tonight, we recognized our 8th grade volleyball players as they played their final home game in a BPMS uniform! ❤️🖤

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and leadership these girls have shown throughout their middle school careers. Thank you for putting in the work, representing BPMS, and always being there for your teammates.

We’re going to miss watching you play on our home court, but we can’t wait to see what’s next for each of you!
