I had some really amazing students this year, that made some great projects. I am excited to see what they build next. Here are just a handful of the projects. I do have to give credit for the start of the guitar to Brandon Undeberg at Cody High School. He also helped a ton with how to finish it.

I really enjoy being able to have this amazing community involved in sponsoring these benches. The Geometry in Construction class learns how to square up the lumber, build the benches, and pour the concrete footers during this project. Thank you to everyone that helped support this. I have to give a huge thank you to Bloedorns of Buffalo. They are always quick to support the students at Buffalo High School - JCSD #1 and today for the Spring Show was no different. They donated a ton of great stuff for the best in show winners and I know it means so much to the students. Please tell them thank you the next time you are in there getting stuff for your next project.

Come out and see what the BHS students have made in their CTE classes. Most departments are starting at 5:00 and ending at 6:30.

The metal and the woods instructors came together to build this bench to be auctioned off at FFA Blue Jean Ball this weekend. We did it as a joint project to better learn each other's craft and to develope a common assessment for our students that build projects utilizing both sides of the shop. I like the way it turned out, but it is easy to make it look good when you get the blue stain pine from Knotty Pine Milling. Buffalo High School - JCSD #1

I am proud of my Geometry in Construction students and the way that these benches turned out with the businesses and the students names engraved on them. These students worked hard to build these heavy duty benches as well as make forms and pour concrete for footers and do the landscaping under the benches. I am excited to see see community members get to use them to watch sporting events or just take a load off. We got a ton of help from the maintenance crew here at BHS and could not have pulled this off without them. We are also extremely grateful for the businesses that sponsored this project.
