Upward Bound Upward Bound Program is a college preparatory program for students enrolled at the Math, Science and Technology Preparatory School in Buffalo. Who is Eligible?

The TRIO Upward Bound Program is a federally funded college preparatory program for students enrolled at the Math Science and Technology Preparatory school in Buffalo. Staffed and developed by Medaille College, the program provides support services for low-income, future first-generation college students at risk for academic failure. It is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to

improve high school graduation rates, ensuring students will enter and complete a college degree. All upward Bound activities and services are free to students enrolled in the program. The Upward Bound Program is available to MST students in grades 9 through 12. In addition, students must:

-Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.
- Qualify for the free/reduced lunch program.
- Be a future first-generation college student
(i.e., neither parent has completed a four-year college degree).
- Have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
