May 12 Celebrating Women in Mathematics

Thanks to the AMS for collecting stats on representation of women in math.

We are making a digits of pi chain! Each color represents a different number of the decimal representation of pi. Come to the Math Lounge (Room 240 of the Math Building) to add to the chain.

AWM gets that it can be hard to ask questions in a math class! Today we're hosting Women Talk Math (and other things), where you can have a chance to chat with other math students like you.

Stop by Clemens 732 at 5pm today for some coffee, donuts and conversation!
