Valerie Lytle will be teaching a Contemporary Ballet class on Sarurdays from 10-11:30 am.

Valerie Lytle is a dancer and movement artist from Los Angeles. She grew up dancing classical ballet with strong a focus on the French and Vaganova techniques. She continued her dance education at École Supérieure de Danse Contemporaine de Paris de Paris, where she studied classical ballet under Agnes Letestu and Josette Amiel. It was here where she had the opportunity to learn under contemporary choreographers, and continued to dance and create works in Iceland, Belgium, and across France. After moving back to LA, Valerie refocused her movement practice with a desire to increase accessibility for anyone who wants to move their body. She recently followed her wife to Buffalo and is eager to pass on her knowledge and love for movement to dancers in Western New York. aey
