Natasha McCandless (Choreographer) is thrilled to be part of the Seussical team! Originally from Pennsylvania, she has been part of the WNY theater community for the past four years, after making her Buffalo debut in Second Generation Theatre’s production of Cabaret in 2022 (Helga/Dance Captain). She is a graduate of Penn State University (BA Dance & BS Secondary Education) and the University at Buffalo (MFA Dance). Natasha enjoys teaching, choreographing, and performing across a wide variety of organizations, including higher education, professional theater, and community education.

Our fabulous Music Director Karen Saxon was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. A co-founder of AnsariSaxon Productions, she is a graduate of Buffalo State College (B.A. Vocal Performance, 2003) and the University of Scranton (M.S.Ed Educational Administration, 2008). Karen is a vocal music teacher at City Honors School & adjunct voice professor at Buffalo State University.

A journeyman working through his third decade in show business, Matt Refermat has worked as a multi-hyphenate theater practitioner onstage or off in over 100 career productions! In 2024, Refermat received the inaugural Michael Shea Award for Theatre Educator of the Year from Shea’s Performing Arts Center. Education: PPU COPA 2013
