For the first time ever, Nichols School is the new home of the annual Buffalo Maker Faire!

Hosted by our very own Electric Mayhem Robotics Team, this celebration of creativity and hands-on learning is coming to our campus in just under a month!

From high-tech 3D printing and robotics to traditional quilting, soldering workshops, and local art, there is something to inspire makers of all ages. Come ready to build, create, and explore!

The adventure of a lifetime🌲🌋

15 Nichols students just wrapped up an incredible 9-day hands-on learning adventure exploring the ecology and geology of the Greater Yellowstone and Grand Teton regions.

Designed by Josh Ring with the support of Kristen Tripp Kelley, this immersive trip took lessons into the field for an unforgettable experience. Check out a glimpse of their journey through the lens! 👇

A true test of leadership and resilience 🌲🧗‍♂️

TWENTY (!) middle school students just conquered the 2026 Leadership Academy! This annual multi-day backpacking expedition took them deep into New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest.

Living out of their packs and staying at the historic AMC High Mountain Huts, these students fully immersed themselves in nature, practiced "Leave No Trace" principles, and discovered what it truly means to lead and support one another.

As of today, we are aiming to raise $300,000 over the next two weeks to hit our annual Nichols Fund goal of $1.275M.

Before heading out for a well-deserved summer break, our faculty gathered for our final Professional Development session of the year, all about effectively and responsibly incorporating AI into the classroom.

A huge thank you to our friends at TechBuffalo and Radial Ventures for coming to campus and leading us through these innovative, hands-on sessions. We’re excited to bring these new tools and strategies to our students! 💻

We couldn't have asked for a more spectacular day out on the course at Pendleton Creek Golf Club for our annual Golf Day! From incredible shots (and a few we won't talk about) to amazing food, drinks, and smiles all around, it was a day for the books.
