Good morning happy Monday. Please see below the upcoming meeting for the Board Of Block Clubs. If you have a little time, please stop out to this great meeting we have a lot of information and we will have pizza as well. Also, as a sidenote, we need, everyone’s help to do a 311 so that we can get that birdhouse taken down. We have people going in there and someone’s going to get hurt and we don’t want that to happen so I’m asking each and everyone of you to put in the birdhouse as it will be going into housing court/demo court in July. I do plan on attending that meeting so that I can have input on behalf of our Block Club and our neighbors. Have a great day and a beautiful week and will see you all soon.

PARKING NEWS
The Parking Department will be resuming enforcement of alternate parking on 9-4 streets for winter 21-22. Accommodations were made for winter 20-21 due to the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that many schools were remote and workers were working from home. Now that vaccinations are widely available, schools are fully open and workers are returning to the office, its important the City operations are able to provide commuters and school buses with reliable service during the winter months. Maintaining enforcement of alternate parking is an important part of DPW being able to provide reliable service for snow and ice control.
The winter parking regulations take effect for 9-4 streets and bus routes on November 15. The Administration will be sending out a press release as well to make the media and the general public aware of this change.
