Our experiential learning continuum encourages students to “engineer today” in addition to attending class. Continuous, experiential learning enlarges students’ technical competence and prepares them for their future careers. It includes internships, job shadowing and more, and is organized according to the following framework.

We recently added some new modules to our Tinkering page, go take a look to get some experiential learning under your belt. We are always looking for recommendations on new modules, so let us know if you have any!

Tinkering - School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Tinkering is the first step in the ELP continuum. Students pursue self-led, hands-on practice as a precursor to being involved in more significant activities.
