We are a group of undergraduate and graduate students working with the Air Force Research Lab, Moog, and NASA who build satellites from concept to launch.

Congrats to Chris Gnam on being named a National Space Grant Fellow!
Gnam named National Space Grant Fellow Gnam was chosen for his academic performance and because his research, which involves implementing “a computationally efficient and robust attitude determination and control system for the LinkSat spacecraft,” closely aligns with that of NASA’s.

Preparing to launch another balloon from the field next to the UB bookstore.
The payload is a homemade radio we are evaluating the performance of.
There's an on board camera, so check back for in-flight photos!

UBNL had great turnout today for our first recruitment session! If you're interested in building spacecraft for the Air Force Research Lab or NASA come check us out at our second recruitment session tomorrow at 5pm in Furnas 206. All majors and experience levels are welcome!
