Up, Up, and Away Child Care Center was established by Catrice D. Huff, an elementary teacher in the Buffalo Public School District. Although happy as an elementary teacher, Catrice desired to thrive in the Early Childhood Education field. Being a mother of 2 young children, ages 18 months and 3 years old reminded her of how precious and sacred those years are to a mother as well as an educator. In
time, Catrice made the decision to leave the district and make caring for young children her fulltime career choice. Huff is a graduate from Buffalo State College with her Bachelors in Science in Early Childhood Education, and Masters in Science in Childhood Education. She currently holds NYS Professional Certification in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. Catrice has over 7 years of teaching experience, with the old school belief that it takes a village to raise a child. The first 5 years of a child's life are very influential, and children absorb everything in their environment. Catrice's goal is to submerse children in creative and stimulating activities in a productive learning environment. Her primary goal is to focus on our children’s social, cognitive, and developmental growth. We Provide:
