🎉 Congratulations to Sydney Girard, who was selected as the Association for Career and Technical Education Administrators (ACTEA) Zone 1 Outstanding Student Award recipient! 🎉

This award comes with a scholarship and is given to one outstanding Erie 1 BOCES student who completes a two-year program and excels in all areas of Career and Technical Education; Sydney is a member of SkillsUSA and the National Technical Honor Society. 🍎

A senior at East Aurora Schools and an Early Childhood Education student at the Potter CTE Center, Sydney is heading to Buffalo State University to continue her education and play lacrosse. Good luck in all your future endeavors! 👏

Each member of the class did research to design a scale model zoo exhibit for an animal of their choice. The detail and passion in all of the exhibits were off the charts! 👏

Hey-ey-ey-ey! Special visitors made Field Day at Armor Elementary one to remember! 🏈☀️

Students from one of our satellite K-2 special education classrooms joined their general education peers for a day full of fun activities alongside members of the Buffalo Bills! From Hot Potato and Duck, Duck, Goose to hula hoops and football target throwing, our students had an incredible time learning, playing, and building friendships together.
