Hi former students and friends, I have some sad news to share. Willow Nan Thompson, my former piano teacher and friend, has passed away suddenly. Some of you may have taken lessons from Nan after I moved to Germany and know what a wonderful teacher and pianist she was. She also loved photography and loved photographing Buffalo Lake. Her beloved cat, Maui Thompson-Brahms needs a home, preferably without young children or other pets. He is missing Nan, and I wanted to reach out here in case any of you could take him. He is a beautiful, black cat who is around 15 years old.

Hello everyone! Some of you asked for updates from Germany, so I wanted to let you know I've settled in Köln and am loving it so far. Thought of you when I listened to Haydn and Beethoven Piano Sonatas in a palace in Brühl, an amazing experience. Miss you all and hope you are well! Have a great start to the school year!
