As another year is coming to a close, we'd love to know what you're up to, particularly if we haven't been in touch for a while! Please send us your news!! Do you have a new position? Were you accepted to a Graduate or Professional Program? Receive a grant? How about a promotion?
And, as always- if you're planning to apply to grad school or med school at UB or elsewhere, let us know-- we're be happy to help with a letter of recommendation or just to offer some advice!

iSEED student Aylin Flores recently presented at 2017 SACNAS: The National Diversity in STEM Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the conference, judges recognized Aylin Flores's work, titled "Distinguishing Whether Rif2 and Orc4 Subfunctionalized or Neofunctionalized after Duplication," as a standout among the student presentations in the Cell/Molecular Biology category, and selected her to receive one of the 2017 SACNAS Student Presentation Awards. Aylin worked with Dr. Laura Rusche in Summer 2017.
