The Sunflower Experience, hosted by the BHS FFA and its alumni, is back for 2026!

More than three acres of sunflowers are now blooming in the BHS FFA Crop Plot, opening today, Monday, July 20. With over 90,000 sunflowers planted, many are beginning to bloom, making it the perfect time to visit. Stop by BHS and enjoy a self-guided tour along either the short or long walking loop through the sunflowers.

This unique attraction serves as a fundraiser for the BHS FFA program. A suggested donation of $5 per person helps support FFA students and activities.

Special thanks to Joe Hopkins' Farm for donating the sunflower seed and to Stan VanderKooi for planting the crop.

The Sunflower Experience is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thanks to all who come out to support our students!
