The Foundry

The Foundry The Foundry is a creative makerspace and business incubator located on the East Side of Buffalo.

The Foundry brings together do’ers, innovators, and action seekers. We provide affordable work spaces for product-related businesses and dream about having weavers and welders, woodworkers and glassworkers, carvers and crafters, all under one roof, all experimenting with their craft, while helping to build their small enterprises. For many of us involved, we get new ideas and perspective from the

organic process of discussion, debate, and exchange with the others we work with. We also offer educational opportunities and work with school age children, exposing them to alternative career options and providing opportunities to learn hands-on skills.

This makerspace is equipped with machinery that allows you to transform that 2D design into a 3D model! With our 3D printer and Glowforge machine, the possibilities are truly endless. It is so cool to see how our makers can use technology to bring their ideas to life. The Foundry’s Afterschool Program is now enrolling! This program gives high school-aged students the opportunity to learn new skills in our makerspaces, conduct fun experiments, and collaborate with their peers. Students will have the option to learn about STEAM related topics or join our Youth Entrepreneurship Program where they will learn all about the behind the scenes of running a business.
