Don't forget to take our district community-wide survey by Monday, June 17! The survey is open online until 5pm and paper copies must be postmarked by June 17 and can be mailed to: School Perceptions, 317 East Washington, Slinger, WI 53086. You can find the survey in the May/June Insider that was mailed to all district residents and online at www.Feedback2000.com. You will need an access number that is found on the back of the Insider. If you need another code for another adult in your household, (18 and older) contact [email protected] or 763-682-8783 to request one.

The results are finally in for the operating referendum: Yes--5,011 and No--9,478. We want to thank everyone for getting out to vote in this election. District administration will now assess the budget issues and determine next steps. Look for more information to be communicated here on Facebook, future Insider newsletters, the district's website and in the local news papers. It's that time of year when we need to start bundling up the kids and keeping them safe and warm. Parents and families, The Blessing Closet will be open THIS Thursday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to pick out unlimited FREE kids clothing items (ages 0-18). It is located at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo, 1200 Hwy 25 South. In addition to clothes, the Blessings Closet will include many NEW winter coats (approximately 300 coats) in children and adult sizes and a limited amount of snow pants and boots. It's preferred to have children with you at the time of shopping, otherwise a form of ID for each child will be required if he/she is not present.

Also, there will be sign-up forms available for Buffalo and Montrose residents from 3-5:30 p.m. for the Adopt-a-Family and Toys-for-Tots programs for the 2017 holiday season.

Because of some issues that we ran into with the Emergency TEST Message on Thursday, October 12, we will TEST the system again this Friday, October 27 in the early afternoon. This message will go out once again to all parents, guardians and staff in the district from our parent/staff notification system.

You should get a call on your cell phone, home phone, work phone, an email and a text to the numbers you have on file with the district. Remember, if you press 0 at the end of your call to confirm it, it will cancel any other phone calls and text message to the numbers associated with your name. NOTE: Email messages are the first to go out followed by phone and text. If you get an email and haven't received a call, PLEASE wait a while before contacting your child's school to make sure you contact information is correct. If your contact information has changed, please update it in the Parent Portal or contact you child's school. Remember this is ONLY a TEST and NO action will likely be necessary.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we appreciate your help with this important process to make sure our system is operating effectively in emergency situations.
