In July 1961 the keys of O’Hern convent and school were handed over to the sisters of St. Joseph, who on the same day opened Archbishop Carroll High School and convent. What a wonderful story about ABC's Sr. Jean!
Extraordinary People: Local woman has fostered nearly 90 children Sister Jeanne Morreall started the Morning Star foster home more than 30 years ago. She had been a school teacher, but wanted to help children with more than just education.

Nobody appreciates teachers like their own kids, and since my mother was an amazing teacher, I know just how talented, hardworking, and just plain amazing all of you are. To any teachers reading this, have a great Teacher Appreciation Week.

Took me a loooong time to wear anything brown after high school. How about you?
A few bumps along the way with the legal questions of yearbooks, but I'm glad this is finally taking some shape. I decided to just go for it. I'll put out more as time allows and also want to encourage others to submit material. Since I only have four yearbooks, it's a little limiting :)
