Please join us in welcoming Denise M. Harris, Ed.D. as BCAT's next President & CEO!

Denise brings more than two decades in higher education and career development, most recently as Director of the Career and Professional Education Center at SUNY Buffalo State. A Tonawanda native and SUNY Fredonia graduate, she has spent her career helping people connect their skills and ambitions to meaningful work and removing the barriers that get in the way.

Her strengths in employer relations, career readiness, and building a culture of trust make her the right leader for this moment. Denise understands both sides of what BCAT does: preparing adults for careers our community needs and giving young people room to grow. We're excited for what she'll help our students and team accomplish.

“We believe in our students, we work to remove the barriers in their way, and we celebrate them when they succeed.” That's how Denise describes the work, and it's exactly the spirit we're glad to welcome.

Great things come from collaboration. Congrats to BCAT youth and Buffalo AKG Art Museum on our incredible new mural!!

Nineteen Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology students left their mark on the city's East Side Thursday, unveiling a colorful mural they spent months designing and painting with local artists and instructors.

A HUGE thank you to NBT for organizing our first corporate care drive!!

This month, NBT employees collected food, personal hygiene, baby items and household goods to replenish BCAT's care closet. These items basic items make a world of difference for students working to build new career paths, allowing them to focus on their studies and plan for their futures. Thank you!!!

Featuring contemporary work by former participants from 2016–2026, the exhibition celebrates the creativity, talent, and artistic community that has grown through the program over the past ten years

For nearly a decade, young artists have come through the Buffalo Center for Arts & Technology Youth Arts Program, developing their creative voices, exploring new ideas, and contributing to Buffalo's cultural landscape.

This summer, we are proud to present "What We Take With Us," the first alumni exhibition in BCAT's history.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
