Professional development doesn't always need to be in a classroom! πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

Wee Can Preschool had a wonderful on site professional development day with CCRN Trainers, Jordan Tartaglia and Emma Pressley, starting the day off with Block Training and rounding it off outside with our "Zen & Play" training which introduces child care providers to the benefits of using yoga-based tools and techniques to support children's emotional, physical, and behavior development. πŸ’š

CCRN's Legally Exempt (LE) Program was proud to host a successful Back-to-School Block Party, bringing resources, school supplies, and family support to the children and caregivers we serve. πŸ’šπŸ’™

We are excited to recognize Zuleika Pizarro Davila, the winner of the beautiful door prize basket generously donated by Univera Healthcare πŸ₯³

Zuleika has been a dedicated Legally Exempt child care provider for over five years, caring for her grandchildren and some neighborhood kids, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to their well-being and development. She consistently participates in professional development opportunities to strengthen her caregiving skills and is actively enrolled in the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), helping to promote healthy nutrition for the children in her care.

Providers like Zuleika play a vital role in supporting working families by offering trusted informal child care and relief services. Through the LE Program, we strive to empower caregivers with the resources, education, and support needed to help children thrive.

Our Block Party helped support all the children in Zuleika’s program (6) with school supplies, healthy snacks, and resources to start the school year prepared and confident. ✏️

A special thank you to Univera Healthcare for their generous door prize donation and continued partnership in supporting families throughout our community. Your contribution helped make this event even more meaningful and memorable for our participants.
