Meet Bethany Arroyo 🌟
We are proud to celebrate Bethany Arroyo as the 2025 American Legion Auxiliary of the Gabriel A. Rodriguez Unit 1928, Gabriel A. Rodriguez American Legion Post 1928, and Latina Evolving, LLC collaborative Scholarship Award Recipient through the Hispanic Women’s League!
A resilient 25-year-old Puerto Rican woman with roots in Jayuya, Bethany is rebuilding her life with strength and purpose after overcoming past challenges. Currently a student in the Barbering program at Erie 1 BOCES, she is on track to graduate in 2026 while also pursuing future careers in real estate and personal training—driven by her mission to empower women, especially Latinas, through entrepreneurship and fitness.

Spotlight on Dineille 🌟
We are thrilled to recognize Dineille as the very first recipient of the Cold Narly Generation LLC Scholarship Award, presented through the Hispanic Women’s League!
A talented student from Lafayette International High School and proud Puerto Rican, Dineille shines both on and off the stage. With a passion for theater and the performing arts, she blends her love of storytelling with the rhythms of folkloric music and dance like Bomba y Plena. Beyond her artistic gifts, she is known as a true leader—supporting her peers as an interpreter and uplifting her school community every day.
With dreams of becoming a writer, producer, composer, and actor, Dineille is determined to use art as a tool for culture, connection, and empowerment. Thanks to an incredible collaboration with Cold Narly Generation LLC, we are thrilled to support her journey through this scholarship.
