The Biology Department offers broad training that balances ecology and evolution with organismal, cellular, and molecular biology. Education of our students combines active classroom instruction with hands-on research to serve as a solid preparation for:
• Future education in the biological or health-related sciences
• Immediate employment in biology-related careers
• Additional training in other disciplines that require a thorough biological foundation
