NativityMiguel Buffalo We are a faith-based middle school in Buffalo, NY transforming the lives of underserved students through single-gender education Today, students at our St.

Since September 2004, the NativityMiguel Middle School of Buffalo has provided middle school students the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through education. Many students had failed at school and were ready to give up. Monica Campus for young women and St. Augustine Campus for young men embrace the programs they need to prepare for success in high school and beyond. Our graduates now attend many of the area’s top public and private high schools and are continuing on to college.

What a day of community building! Students, faculty/staff, parents, members of the Family Empowerment Council, the Broadway/fillmore Block Club and SRO’s jumped right in to partake in a school wide Community Service Day in celebration of Earth Day!

Students reflected on and embodied our values of Courage, Community, Compassion and Contemplation while doing various projects together. Projects included cleaning up of 109 Paderewski lot, spring cleaning around the school and church campus, making succulent pots for the Sisters of Mercy, planting flower pots and cleaning up the inside of the school campus!

Yesterday, our 8th grade St. Augustine Rens traveled to St. Francis to compete against the St. Benedict Tigers in the WNYCESAA Boys Basketball Championship. In a back-and-forth classic, our Rens won 49-43! Additionally, 3 scholar-athletes made the all-tournament team, with CP taking home tournament MVP honors.
