Due to inclement weather and the anticipated hazardous road conditions, Buffalo Public Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All students and staff are to stay home. All afterschool activities are canceled.

The scoring of high school Regents exams scheduled for Monday will be rescheduled. There will be no remote learning for the district’s high school students tomorrow.

After school is starting up again in February.. It’s for all grades 3rd- 8th from 330-530 every Tuesday- Thursdays for different grades each day.. homework help and game club is run by our friends who are Buffalo teachers. Call the bookstore to pre register your kiddos!! 🖍️📚📖✏️

Starting in February, Buffalo Public Schools is launching a Student Attendance Lottery, awarding a total of $1,000 each month to three students💰👏

Students who miss no more than one day in a month will be entered for a chance to win, thanks to the generous support of Say Yes Buffalo.

Yesterday all of our 5th graders had a chance to visit Highmark Stadium and meet Keon Coleman and his family. Thank you to the Keon Coleman Family Foundation for this wonderful opportunity. We read Keon's book and talked about our dreams, goals and superstars in our life. The foundation gifted the students with a copy of the book and warm winter jackets! It was a memorable experience for everyone.

As the safety of our students remains a priority, we appreciate your patience and understanding as the bus drivers learn and navigate the conditions on their routes. We encourage families to use the First View app to keep track of their student’s yellow bus trips in real time.

Tonight we’re kicking off Kids Skate Free Wednesdays presented by Paula's Donuts! Every Wednesday is Kids Skate Free Wednesday from 4pm-8pm.🍩⛸️

•Ages 13 and under receive free admission with the purchase of an adult admission! Skate rentals are not included, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Each child will also receive a voucher for one free donut (redeemable at any of the four Paula’s Donuts locations in Western New York).
