I assume that every parent uses screens as the 'I need to get stuff done' babysitter (well I hope we aren't not alone on that one). We implemented this system in my home to not only limit the kids screentime, but to hold me and my husband accountable for the time our kids spend on their devices.
Of course, we have days that we veg out with dollar store snacks, a big bowl of popcorn and movies all day, but for the most part this system has kept us on track.
Aspects from this process that we use with our own kids are readily used at Lil' Workers. We are constantly finding new and innovative methods to integrate technology into our little one's curriculums.
