Your New Year Resolution is to build better relationships with your family or friends. You know what you like to change and maybe even have a plan to achieve it, but instead of getting started now, you spend the rest of December treating everyone you know like trash!
Absolutely insane. Right?
Now consider the amount of people that do something similar every year with their fitness and/or fat loss goals…

”intuitive eating” is that most people, most of the time will choose the highest calorie option available and load up on it. Your brain is programmed for it!
First, develop a good understanding of:
-Basal Metabolic Rate
-Macronutrients and their effects on the body
-Proper portion sizes and total caloric values
-Meal timing
Then you’ll stand a better chance of “intuitive eating” successfully!!
Genetics play a pretty large role in who you are as a person; facial features, hair texture, eye color, height, limb length… all out of your control.
However, you can influence your health. Lifestyle plays a humongous part in this. How you eat, how much you move, and the effort you put into being better at something is completely in your control. The ability to start improving your lifestyle can happen whenever you want!!
You can use “bad genes” as an excuse for living unhealthy or you can take control of your own destiny.
Look at the list of ingredients on the foods you eat regularly... if there are 10+ items on there or if you don’t know what the majority of the ingredients actually are, you may want to reconsider how often you consume!! 🧐
We’ve thrived as humans eating plants and animals, not chemical substitutes and additives. Stick with what works and gravitate your meals towards whole food items 👍 your body and mind will thank you!
REMINDER: The best thing you can do to benefit your health is eat real food and move more!!!
Cook for yourself using whole food ingredients and stretch daily! Improvements in quality of life are sure to follow 👍

The holiday’s are upon us for the next 6 weeks:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas
- New Year's Eve
- New Year's Day
Living it up for 5 days out of 42 won't hurt you- enjoy celebrating with family and friends!
BUT… if you’re feasting 3 separate times for each holiday, snacking on food junk daily, and getting your drink on 5 times a week from now until January, don't be shocked when your pants feel a bit tight..
Moderation is the key to thriving through the holiday season!
