Toddlerhood is full of big feelings, important milestones, and incredible growth. ❤️
Learning self-help skills, practicing self-regulation, socializing with friends, using manners, following two-step directions, sharing toys, and remembering to use gentle hands doesn’t always happen smoothly. There are tears, frustrations, reminders, and plenty of opportunities to try again.
But that’s where the magic happens.✨
Each challenge they overcome together helps build confidence, resilience, empathy, and problem-solving skills. They learn that friendships take practice, mistakes are opportunities to grow, and they are capable of doing hard things with support and encouragement.
The toddler years aren’t about perfection—they’re about progress. Every “I did it myself,” every shared toy, every deep breath after disappointment, and every kind interaction is laying the foundation for strong relationships and lifelong skills. We’re so proud of the growth we witness each day in our little learners. 🌟

Last week we had a visit our EPIC partner (every person influences children) Miss Lisa who did a Prek play workshop with Miss Emily and the children about different uses for blocks. They did 4 centers with blocks – 1 sorting block colors, 1 counting and building the highest tower they could, 1 for sequencing, and 1 center for towers. The children loved it!!

Our classroom window is more than just a view—it’s a doorway to learning! 🌞👋
Each morning, the children love waving to community workers heading off to work, greeting dog walkers, and watching the world come alive around them. Along the way, they practice important early learning skills by counting passing cars, identifying colors, and talking about what they see.
These simple moments help build language, math, observation, and social-emotional skills while fostering a connection to the community around us. Sometimes the best lessons happen when we slow down and look out the window! 🚗🐕💙💛❤️

Never underestimate the power of a hug.
A hug can calm anxiety, lift a heavy heart, offer comfort without words, and remind someone they are not alone. Sometimes the smallest gestures carry the biggest healing. ❤️
Today, give an extra hug, you never know how much they might need it.
