cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable (think broccoli’s cousin) that contains folate, calcium, vitamin a & c and lots of fiber. this translates to protected skin, strong bones, good digestion & heart health. we love it because it’s super versatile - it can be roasted, steamed, pureed or riced & holds lots of flavor when you add spices or other ingredients to it. check out our cauliflower(child) recipes in next week’s menu! 🌱

coconut milk is extracted from the flesh of mature brown coconuts & brings more than a non-dairy creamy texture & yummy flavor to baby’s dishes. it contains healthy fats essential for baby’s brain development as well as antioxidants & electrolytes for heart, muscle, nerve & bone health. the zinc in coconut helps to aid in gastrointestinal health and prevent diarrhea. not to mention, as many mamas know, it’s superb for our hair & skin! 🥥🌱
