MEL joined King Urban Life Center at their third Family Fun Friday of the year. This monthly event is free including dinner, activities for all ages, and entertainment for families. As a recipient of the Erie County Lead Task Force’s Lead Mini-Grant, MEL raised lead awareness by collecting thirty-three surveys, helping expand the Service Line Inventory Map for the Increasing Lead Service Line Surveys on Buffalo’s East Side project. Residents received a $25 Tops gift card after completing Get Water Wise’s service line material survey. MEL will be tabling at the remaining monthly Family Fun Fridays—the last Friday of every month from 6pm to 8pm—until November. Visit our table and fill out a survey!
