In conjunction with the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) and the American Lamb Board (ALB), the Livestock Marketing Information Center (LMIC), is conducting a producer survey to collect sheep enterprise costs and production data directly from producers.
The survey will generate industry benchmarks and economic insights that help producers compare their operations to regional and national returns, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and make more informed management decisions.
The survey results will also support the development of more accurate and representative sheep industry economic benchmarks for producers, industry leaders, and researchers. Complete the survey by November 30, 2026. Results will to presented at the ASI Convention in January 2027.

Thank you to everyone involved with the Tri-Tip Fundraiser!

To each of you that supported and purchased tickets, THANK YOU.

The proceeds from the fundraiser will be dispersed in a few categories. The proceeds will go to: the Johnson County 4-H Council Scholarships, funding 4-H programming, funding awards that youth earn, and to support community service events done through our 4-H program. Essentially, your money will directly impact 4-H youth in Johnson County. Thank you for supporting this program.

To our folks that made the meal happen, our youth that made the deliveries and packaged food, to our leaders who helped in countless ways, thank you.

PRODUCER EXPERIENCE BELONGS IN THE CONVERSATION
