Save the Date: CS4HS is coming back!
Great news for local high school and advanced middle school students interested in computer science — the Buffalo Computer Science Competition and Showcase (CS4HS) is continuing this year! Previously hosted by Buffalo State, the event is being restarted with support from the UB Computer Science Department, the UB Center for Health AI Innovation, and local industry and nonprofit partners.

Explore the future of AI at UB! 🤖
Students 13+ can experience AI at UB with our friends at . Learn about the exciting world of artificial intelligence at the 2025 AI Experience at UB (AIX @ UB) event. This FREE, two-day program will be held from June 30 – July 1 (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily) at the University at Buffalo North Campus. Designed for curious and creative middle and high school students, AIX @ UB blends cutting-edge technology with fun, interactive projects, and real-world AI experiments. Along the way, you’ll explore how AI is shaping everything from entertainment to science, while learning how to use it ethically and responsibly.
Middle school and high school students ages 13 and older are eligible to apply for the camp. Students of all backgrounds and skill levels are welcome to join. There are a limited number of spots available, so apply soon! Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day; the program is supported by the UB AI Seed Funding Grants.
