A few glimpses from the recent demonstration sessions on green chemistry and clean energy with Buffalo State University students! 💡🔬

These sessions showcased the transformative potential of sustainable chemical practices in mitigating environmental impact. From aerobic oxidation to catalytic transformations, each demonstration illustrated how innovative green chemistry technologies can offer efficient and environmentally benign alternatives to traditional methods. These sessions not only fostered a deeper understanding of sustainable chemistry concepts but also inspired students to embrace a mindset of environmental stewardship and innovation in their future scientific endeavors. Huge shoutout to Dr. Biswas and Michael Vullo, who played a pivotal role in the success of the session.

These sessions are part of the successful grant funding from the Buffalo State Center for Integrated Studies in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

Experience the impact of clean energy and green chemistry firsthand by attending our Green Chemistry Lab demos on Tuesday, March 5th and March 12th during Bengal Pause at SAMC 229. Student stipends will be provided for those who sign up for the full project.

Mike Vullo, a Chemistry major and Dr. Biswas a Chemistry faculty with other members of Centre for Integrated Studies in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. The centre has been working to bring people from different disciplines at Buff State together for ‘nanotechnology’ initiatives.
