We are very proud to showcase 4th grade Lindbergh Elementary student Vera Laugeman's artwork on the cover of the catalog! Vera's beautiful and creative design was chosen from many applicants as the perfect display for the Spring & Summer theme of "Planting Seeds of Knowledge, Helping Futures Flourish". Staff from Community Education had the opportunity to visit Vera at Lindbergh Elementary and present her with a keepsake version of her artwork and the catalog. The Community Education catalog is distributed to 31,000 District homes. Congratulations Vera!

If you have ever taken a Community Education class, you have received an email from our wonderful Kathy, probably multiple! This month Kathy was recognized for her outstanding work in our Department, a great honor within our Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda Union Free School District. If you know Kathy personally, which many people have said they feel like they do even if they've never met her, you would quickly see how dedicated and knowledgable she is at her job. Her exceptional customer service has made quite an impact on our community members, students, and families. Kathy wears many hats and is always juggling more things than we could ever list out. We would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU and job well done to Kathy, and we would love if you would also join us in doing so. Congratulations Kathy, we are so lucky to have you!
We recognize staff from each of our schools at Board of Education meetings during the school year. There are many staff who work for district-level departments who are not eligible to be honored but are no less deserving of recognition. We asked each district department to identify one outstanding member of its staff to be celebrated for their work. These individuals represent the incredible work that takes place behind the scenes that has a tremendous impact on our students. Congratulations to all those who were recognized:
