Today I learned a valuable lesson that also proved that just because your day may start out with everything seemingly going wrong ended on the highest note possible thanks to having the right contact. I’ve always been told to never burn a bridge in the golf community and I’ve tried very hard not to.

In all my years teaching this wonderful game called GOLF I never had a place where I could teach year round until today. I was giving a lesson to a student that rented time on a simulator and met the owner who also happened to be a former PGA teaching professional (like me 👍🏼) and we got to talking. By the end of the conversation I was offered the space to teach and post my own advertising for my services.

My excitement level is through the roof now and I’ll also be able to shoot my videos and ha e all the necessary information that students crave.

So if you’re in the Whiteside County area all the way to The Quad Cities I am now at your abailable. You won’t walk away disappointed.

I do have one problem that maybe someone with more experience can help me with. I have no idea about flyers or small banners to put up to advertise my services as I’ve never had to or needed to have that before. I’ve always been a handshake, business card and word of mouth type of guy and I know that’s old school but im old so 🤷🏼‍♂️

So the USGA and the R&A are going to ban green reading books, which I totally agree with but while they’re at it how about banning marking your golf ball with any alignment aid on it as well. You aren’t allowed to use any training device on the course while playing but you’re allowed to mark your ball to line your putt up with? Plus it would speed up play.
