A small green visitor joined our outdoor time at Children’s Land Mt. Prospect, and suddenly everyone became a scientist. 🌿

Moments like this build focus, gentle hands, and real care for the world around them. All from one curious look.

Who’s the nature lover in your house? 💚

Nothing in our classrooms is just a craft. 🌽

When an infant presses a sensory bag, she’s learning cause and effect. When a toddler squeezes tweezers, he’s building the muscles he’ll write with. When a preschooler counts corn kernels, that’s real math. When kindergartners watch a kernel pop, that’s real science.

Every activity in our farm theme at Children’s Land of Glenview was chosen for what it builds, and matched to where each child is developmentally.

It looks like play. It is play. And it’s also so much more.

Come see it for yourself. Book a tour at Children’s Land of Glenview. 💛

We’ve all said it. «Stop crying.» Usually when we’re tired, rushed, or just want the moment to be over.

But here’s the thing: crying isn’t misbehavior. It’s how little ones release big feelings their brains can’t manage alone yet. When we stay close and name what they’re feeling, the storm passes faster, and they learn that their feelings are safe with us.

You won’t get it right every time. None of us do. What matters is coming back to connection. 💚

Save this for the next hard moment, and send it to a fellow parent who could use it.

Great things happen when we work together. 🖍️
Our friends teamed up on one big coloring project, sharing crayons, ideas, and a whole lot of teamwork. Every little hand added something to make it their own.
Because some of the best learning happens side by side. 💚

Tiny taste testers at work. 🍓
In our infant room, even snack time is a whole new adventure. Every new flavor is a little discovery, a scrunched nose, a curious smile.
These are the earliest ways our littlest ones explore the world. And we’re so lucky to watch it happen.
