These young men represent 10 collective years at The Link School and we are thrilled to be able to send them out into the world to make it a better place. This week was Spirit Week at The Link School. We showed our school spirit by participating in crazy hair day, twin day, Christmas day, and pajama day. Today was prank day, aka dress up as James Orlet day. Such a fun way to show our appreciation for our Director who is a man that wears so many hats here at Link. Everyone had some sort of goatee and then chose a version of James to represent: Guide James, Mechanic James, Board Meeting James, Teacher James, Rock Climbing James, General-Fix-Everything James etc. We all had a good laugh when we surprised him this morning in the student meeting.

On The Link School's February trip, we found some of that fantastic, elusive Colorado snow. Students and staff hit three new-to-us ski resorts (Powderhorn, Sunlight and Ski Cooper) in 3 days. Three days of back-to-back, all day skiing really helped students elevate their skiing skills and physical endurance. Plus it was a whole lot of fun!

The Link School is back from Baja, Mexico where we spent 3 weeks diving into the local culture, participating in Spanish immersion classes, doing service work, sea kayaking around Isla Espiritu Santo, and learning how to surf at Cerritos. Students made new friends, read the Bible lesson next to the Sea of Cortez, made stronger bonds with their peers, played in the waves, swam with sea lions, ate amazing food, camped next to the ocean, experienced unbelievable sunsets, read books, went whale watching, explored Todo Santos & La Paz, and lived device-free for almost a month. We had an incredible time and learned so much.
