Today I was honored to receive the Woman of Distinction Award from the office of Senator Ling Ling Chang in recognition of the Unlimited Possibilities Martial Arts. It was presented at the Buena Park City Council meeting and will be followed by a virtual ceremony tomorrow. I never dreamed that one day, not only would I have a martial arts program for people with disabilities, but that I would look so forward to each and every class that I have the privilege of teaching. Thank you, God for giving me a heart for this population and for allowing me make such amazing friends.

I was worried about this little guy and how he would deal with the noise, excitement, and waiting that came along with his first tournament. He did great with some help from Courtney McIntyre da Silva and her son, Nate. Thanks Blanca Marisa Garciafor the photos.
