Viet Rainbow of Orange County (VROC) is a grassroots organization based in Orange County, California that builds community and mobilizes intergenerationally.

We are grounded in values of equity, healing, joy, and social justice. VROC strives to create a world where everyone has the resources and agency to thrive with dignity. We primarily work with LGBTQ+ Vietnamese Americans and their loved ones through research, education, and advocacy, while also strengthening collective power alongside other communities working towards liberation.

This National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, let’s talk honestly: our community faces higher rates of substance use not because of who we are, but because of the stigma and discrimination we carry. That’s worth saying out loud.🏳️‍🌈

Knowledge saves lives, so we’re breaking down what to know: fentanyl risks, test strips, naloxone, and where to find care that actually sees you.

The time between April to July 2026 just flew by and we’ve got some memories to share! Swipe through to relive them with us (bonus silliness when you reach the end). We are overjoyed to see familiar and new faces join us in creating joy and resilience in our community! 💐 ☀️

What have we been up to? Having facilitated reflections on our long-term vision with our staff and board; convening with our fellow LGBTQ+ API orgs; laughing, dancing, and eating with community at our Monthly Meet-Ups and Hot Person Summer; learning skills and building connections with our youth; and supporting efforts to give back to our impacted and vulnerable community members. 🫂

We are eternally grateful to have the honor of reaching our wildest dreams with all of you! And we still have the rest of 2026 to look forward to so we hope to see you very soon! 💌

Overdose deaths are declining nationally but that progress isn’t reaching everyone. Black, Indigenous, and Latino communities are losing more people every year, and when mental health care is out of reach because of stigma, distrust, or a system never built with you in mind, the consequences could be fatal. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re naming what’s in the way. Because our communities deserve more than a system that overlooks them. 🖤

Happy Disability Pride Month! 🌈

Pride is for both celebration and education.

Did you know the ADA protects people in recovery from opioid use disorder (OUD), including those taking prescribed medication-assisted treatment (MAT)? Recovery through medication is valid recovery.
