We're proud to announce Jasenia Sutherlin as the Fall 2026 winner of the Hosa Technology Audio Engineering Scholarship at Musicians Institute.

Jasenia, from Aurora, CO, is enrolled in MI's Certificate in Audio Engineering program and arrives with three years of recording and mixing experience across R&B, pop, and alternative. At MI she's focused on live production and mixing, and on building a community of collaborators. Her goal: to become "a sought-after audio engineer for both studio and live event spaces" while building her own career as an artist.

Congratulations, Jasenia. We're glad to support the next generation of engineers, and thank you to The Musicians Foundation and Musicians Institute for the partnership.
