I’m not sure how the street sweeper will cope without his cheering section!

The time has come to move on to new adventures! I will be closing Karen’s Daycare and Preschool on August 6, and moving to Arizona!

This week is Teacher appreciation week, and I want to give a big thank you to our teachers, Miss Alexis, Miss Yasmine and Miss Sam. You are all the most thoughtful, loving and caring women, who really give it your all for our kids. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Our fabulous lead teacher, Miss Alexis, has been with us for almost 6 years, but in June she will be leaving for graduate school. While this is definitely the right move for her, she will be very difficult to replace. I am actually looking for two part time employees, so please let me know if you know any candidates. The first position will be a morning preschool teacher. ECE units required. They will be teaching our toddler class. We are also looking for an afternoon aide. Experience preferred but a loving heart and endless patience are more important. Please share this with anyone you know who may be a good fit for our preschool.

Today’s silly conversation started with “no, we don’t put carrots in our elbows” 🤣

Hi Parents and Grandparents, from our preschool. Are you familiar with Usborne Books & More? Our family is in love with these books and I wanted to give our preschool library a little update so I've decided to host a quick little Facebook “party” on this Thursday, November 12, at 8.30 pm, and thought you might be interested. You can watch/join from the comfort of your couch - no live video or anything, just moms sharing their love of great children’s books - face mask and wine encouraged 🙂
