This right here couldn’t be more true!
A lot of hitters especially Barry Bonds have excellent swings however….
This is what separates bad, good and great hitters.
One thing I loved about Bonds is if he got his pitch he never missed it but on top of that he was so good at anticipating what was coming and knew exactly how to attack.
Hitting is as much mental as it is physical and your mind can legit change your career! 🔥

I bet a lot of you players love to swing at the high pitch but tend to struggle with it!
You’re not alone!
Here is a little trick to hitting that pitch
When you recognize it don’t get big and stay calm high pitch does not equal a big hit
Once you stay calm make sure you work through the ball and get behind it that will give you your best chance for success!

A small swing break down.
Focusing on flowing with the swing and eliminating unnecessary movement is the most efficient way to hit.
This is an all around solid swing and this kid can flat out hit 🔥

When it comes to hitting taking a ton of reps won’t improve your craft but attention to detail will.
Outside of timing and barrel control your body has to move as one going in the same direction and working through a ball.
The question is can you replicate your best swing over and over plus being aware of how to get your best results?
If you can be aware of how to move to the best of your ability and know the feel of your best swing hitting only gets that much easier and it takes the overthinking out of the equation.
