Hands-on literacy: our preschoolers reviewed letter C and were introduced to letter D through sensory exploration. They cleaned cars that were dirty and practiced writing letters C and D in the sticky "mud." This activity also bolstered vocabulary as preschoolers discussed words that begin with c and d, along with descriptive language as they engaged in this sensory experience.

🍎 ❤️ Our infants explored the color red through sensory play inspired by Johnny Appleseed day! This hands on experience supported fine motor development, hand eye coordination, and cause & effect learning as the babies squished, squeezed, and moved the paint around.

Pre-k made marble painted zebras. 🦓 They had so much fun squeezing paint into the box, shaking it with marbles inside, and revealing their zebras! Each of their zebras came out unique - just like real zebras! This activity enhanced sensory development, worked fine and gross motor skills, as well as cause-and effect-thinking.
