Things got a little messy and a lot of fun at The Learning Experience Buda today! Our creative kiddos celebrated by rolling up their sleeves and making their very own homemade play-dough! 🥣👋
Want to try this super easy, sensory-rich activity at home? Grab your little chef and follow our favorite recipe:
• 🌾 Mix: 2 cups of flour + 1/2 cup of salt
• 🧪 Add: 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
• 💧 Pour: Slowly add 3/4 to 1 cup of warm water while stirring to form dough
• 🙌 Knead: 3 to 5 minutes until smooth
• 🎨 Customize: Add food coloring to make your favorite color!
(Pro-tip: Add more flour if it's too sticky, or a splash of water if it's too dry!)
Squishing, rolling, and sculpting help our preschoolers build those important fine motor skills while unleashing their imagination. 🧑‍🎨🚀

This October, our little learners here at The Learning Experience are diving into My Emotions and Feelings, a curriculum theme designed to help children better understand what they’re feeling, express themselves, and build the social-emotional skills they’ll use every day. 🌈💬

With Miss Chievous by their side, children will explore the many emotions they experience and discover simple ways to navigate big feelings. ✨
